The latest Tekla Structures service pack and updated environment installers are available in Tekla Downloads. This issue has now been fixed, and marks saved in one language can also be loaded in any other user interface language. This fix applies to all part marks, view label marks, dimension marks and tags, and rebar dimension marks. Examples of mark content text locations:. You can now refresh separately the reference models that you have selected in the reference model list by using the refresh button.
Previously, you could only refresh all reference models. You can now export sub-materials of concrete material by using the new Include sub-materials setting on the Data settings tab.
For more information about exporting sub-materials, see section "Handling sub-materials in ELiPLAN export" in ELiPLAN. On the Reinforcement tab, the Export meshes as option Turned to pallet has been renamed to Turned to pallet longest wire on X axis , and a new Turned to pallet bent wire on X axis option has been added to export meshes rotated to pallet plane with bent wires parallel with the X axis of the pallet.
Wall layout opening has been improved so that only when you explicitly set the main part layer, then this layer is used as the input part to the Sandwich wall window component. Geometry detailing strip : Closed polygon shapes now work correctly.
Previously, placing the shape entirely or partially at the part edge did not work correctly when you selected a geometry for the shape. Concrete console : The cut-out around T-shaped beams now follows the beam inclination correctly when set. Concrete console : Cover thickness around T beams is now applied correctly. Geometry detailing strip : The geometry detailing strip on the wall layout connector now again extends the details to the angled fitting of the wall layout connector.
Hollow core lifting loops : Updating now works correctly when inserted to a slab created by the Floor layout component.
Sandwich and double wall : The issues in the cast unit hierarchy of the outer shell have now been fixed. Corbel reinforcement 81 : Main bars, stirrups and traverse stirrups are now created properly also in situations in which the top face of the corbel is inclined not horizontal. Concrete connection : Sometimes, manually moving the component in the model broke the connection. This issue has now been fixed.
The mesh properties CUSTOM. had only one leg. Embedded anchors : Previously, some anchors could disappear when you had selected to create inclined anchors on the Input tab and the surface where the anchors were placed consisted of two perpendicular planes. Floor layout : Previously, Floor layout 's direct modification arrow and dimensioning did not work in certain cases. Truss S78 : Previously, when different offsets were specified for the top chord, the Joining plates 14 component used for the top chords connection was created in an incorrect position.
Truss S78 : Previously, vertical beams were not created in some cases. Bracing cross 19 : Previously, bolts were incorrectly placed when the main part was a bent plate. CMF Anti-sag system 53 : Previously, it was possible to select members outside of the bay, which caused holes to be placed outside of the members.
Circular base plate : Previously, when you used a custom component for anchor bolts, the custom component was created at a skewed angle to the base plate. Bolted gusset 11 : Previously, when the gusset plate was created as a rectangular plate, multiple welds were created in the same location. Two sided end plate 34 : Previously, the bolting direction option did not work at all. Railings S77 : Previously, the top rail at end stanchion fittings or bend was not created correctly when the stanchions were offset from the reference lines.
Column with stiffeners S : Previously, the vertical distance between the first and last bolt and the edge of the plate was not correct when the secondary part was sloped. Shear plate full depth 37 : Previously, in some situations an unwanted top haunch plate was created.
Two sided end plate : Previously, safety connections were not created correctly for type C or U secondary beams. Gusseted cross 62 : Previously, the horizontal bolt edge distance for brace bolts was not correct. Beam to beam stub connection : Previously, the stub web plate was not created correctly in some cases. Multiple stiffeners : Previously, offsets between the edges of the main part stiffeners and flanges were not applied correctly in some cases. Partial stiffened end plate 65 : Previously, the default value for stiffener part position and start number was not correct.
Railings S77 : It is now possible to maintain the same distance between the bottom rail and bottom of the stanchions. Overlay models : The overlay model inquire dialog box has been improved.
For example, the model name is now displayed. Inquire reference objects : The reference object inquire dialog box has been improved: the material type now works, and the assembly description has been removed because it was not needed.
IFC4 export : The default bolt color is now correct when exported. Previously, the default bolt color was gray. IFC2x3 export : Earlier, when you exported a bolt group with both regular and oversized holes by using the IFC2x3 surface geometry export, all holes were exported as oversized. This has now been fixed. Reference models : STP files were not displayed correctly in 3D model views, there were problems with the transparency.
Export to Sketchup : You can now select the desired SketchUp version in the export dialog box. Reference models : Reference object layers are now available in the inquire dialog box and change management properties. IFC2x3 export : Earlier, the list of attributes in additional property sets was sometimes empty. Import from Tekla Structural Designer : Reinforcement was not transferred from Tekla Structural Designer when the relevant beams, columns, walls, and slabs were originally created in the Tekla Structures model.
Trimble Connect : Now the upload to Trimble Connect model export also supports the PHASE. NAME attribute and other PHASE. Point clouds : In some cases, point clouds were rendered incorrectly with an offset. Point clouds : Handling of large at least 60 GB , non-potree point clouds is now supported as one file.
IFC2x3 export : Bolts in assemblies now have correct color when exported to IFC2x3 with current view colors. Reference models : Reference model report property GUID now returns the reference object GUID the same way as EXTERNAL.
GUID does. Template Editor : Valuefield formula functions NextValue and PreviousValue no longer ignore the sort order when they are used in valuefield formulas. Template Editor : When a sub-row was filtered out with a rule, the top-level row rule with a CopyField function could give a wrong result.
Template Editor : A symbol with a rule that used the GetValue function only worked in the first row in the row hierarchy. The custom mesh properties CUSTOM. Template Editor : In a template, the summary row worked incorrectly when the parent row was hidden. View-level dimensioning : When skew edges dimension orientation was set to dimension along the edge, the dimensions were incorrectly created in some cases.
View-level dimensioning : Drawing dimensioning method Filter performance has been improved in large models. NOTE: This improvement changes the guidance we gave earlier when releasing Tekla Structures version that using a selection filter.
SObjGrp would be faster than using a view filter. Now the view filter is faster, and we recommend using only view filters and no longer selection filters. Layout editor : Editing sizes in the drawing layout editor works now more reliably. Section view labels in drawings no longer disappear when you have changed the section name.
Previously, the section view labels disappeared in some rare cases. Earlier, when you set a negative Depth down or Depth up value for a drawing view, curved grid lines disappeared from the view. The Project viewer role now uses the same set of permissions as the Carbon configuration. If the on-premises server is not accessible, Tekla Structures now reports connection errors more accurately. Rebar sets: An issue was fixed where the Clear reinforcing bar numbers command, when used with rebar sets, did not flag the numbering of the parent cast unit to be out of date.
Rebar sets: The Diagnose model command now reports Invalid rebar geometry warnings for rebar sets that do not have valid geometry. Previously, rebar set geometry was not checked by the command. Rebar sets: In unselected rebar sets, the leg faces that are not valid now have appropriate visibility after the Show only selected command has been used.
Rebar sets: Previously, when rebar set layers were edited, Tekla Structures might close unexpectedly. Previously, clash check was not performed correctly between non-subdivided reference models with a scale and native Tekla Structures objects. Snapping issues with cast-in-place concrete parts that are shown as separated have now been fixed.
Previously, the snap to nearest point and snap to any point snap switches were forced on when the Split command was used. This has now been fixed, and snapping follows the switch settings. Previously, very rarely, when copying similar objects which did not belong to any assembly, Tekla Structures might have stopped working. Now, this does not happen anymore. An issue in the creation of weld preparations that use edge chamfering could cause Tekla Structures to stop responding or close unexpectedly.
Previously, simultaneous autosave for users in a multi-user model did not work correctly because of a file write conflict in the model folders.
Previously, the Role and Configuration fields in the License section of the Settings menu did not show the values defined in the bypass. ini file. Now the fields show the correct values, but you cannot change the values. Previously, when you opened Tekla Structures, a new browser tab was always opened. Now, when you open Tekla Structures and log in, the default browser window does not open anymore if you have a valid session and authentication available.
The sign-in browser is shown less frequently when users who are already signed in change from one version or product to another. NET Framework 4. The performance of large models has been improved, and the freezing of the model should not happen anymore.
The TSEP installer now provides improved logging when a file cannot be installed because the target folder is not writeable or because a file with the same name exists and cannot be overwritten.
tsep files has been improved in the TSEP File Dispatcher. Previously, double-clicking an invalid file could cause the application to become unresponsive.
